Ben Psikoloji (İngilizce) bölümünden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kübra ÇELİK. Güney Kore’nin Daegu kentindeki Keimyung Üniversitesinde bir hafta Erasmus KA171 programı personel ders verme hareketliliğine katıldım. Oldukça keyifli geçen bu süreçte gerek gittiğim üniversitenin psikoloji bölümü gerekse uluslararası ofisi çok yardımcı oldular. Derslerimin konusu genel olarak çocukluk travması ve travma sonrası stres bozukluğunun nörolojik etkileri üzerineydi. Genel olarak çeşitli travmaların özellikle çocukluk travmasının duyum, algı ve dikkat süreçlerine olan etkisi hakkında konuştuk. Yüksek lisans öğrencilerine verdiğim bu seminerlerin yanı sıra lisans öğrencileriyle ‘Psikolojiye Giriş 101’ dersinde buluştuk. Duyum, algı ve dikkat süreçlerinin beynimizde nasıl gerçekleştiği üzerine harika bir ders oldu. Öğrencilerin ilgisi, soruları ve merakı oldukça yüksekti.Daha sonrasında uluslararası ofisten Josh Bey’in düzenlediği Gyeongju turuna katıldım ve Güney Kore tarihi hakkında yeni bilgiler öğrendim. Bu hareketlilikte emeği geçen Erasmus ofisimizden Sayın Lale Çobanoğlu ve Zehra Kılıçarslan’a, Keimyung Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümünden Dr. Minyoung Kim’e ve Eunjung Kim’e ve uluslararası ofisten başta Josh Cho olmak üzere Shin, Ho Cheol ve Kim, Seon-Jung’a emekleri için çok teşekkür ederim.
I am Dr. Kübra ÇELİK, a faculty member in the Department of Psychology (English) and I participated in a one-week Erasmus KA171 staff teaching mobility program at Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea. During this enjoyable experience, both the Psychology Department and the International Office at the university were incredibly helpful.The subject of my lectures focused on the neurological effects of childhood trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. We discussed the impact of various traumas, particularly childhood trauma, on sensory perception, attention, and cognitive processes. In addition to the seminars I gave to master’s students, I also met with undergraduate students in the “Introduction to Psychology 101” course. It was a fantastic class on how sensory, perception, and attention processes occur in our brain. The students’ interest, questions, and curiosity were very high.Later, I participated in a Gyeongju tour organized by Mr. Josh from the International Office and learned new information about South Korean history. I would like to sincerely thank those who contributed to this mobility: Ms. Lale Çobanoğlu and Ms. Zehra Kılıçarslan from our Erasmus office, Dr. Minyoung Kim and Eunjung Kim from the Keimyung University Psychology Department, and the staff from the International Office, especially Mr. Josh Cho, Mr. Shin, Mr. Ho Cheol, and Ms. Kim Seon-Jung for their efforts.
