Mimarlık Bölümünden Arş. Gör. Merve ÖZTÜRK’ün Ljubljana Üniversitesi ziyareti sonrası deneyimleri:Erasmus+ Personel Hareketliliği kapsamında 8-11 Kasım 2022 tarihlerinde Slovenya’nın başkenti Ljubljana’da yer alan Ljubljana Üniversitesi Mimarlık Fakültesi’nde ders alma hareketliliğine katıldım. 4 gün süren deneyimim boyunca hem derslere katılma hem de şehirde zaman geçirme şansına sahip oldum.İlk gün Mimarlık Fakültesi öğretim üyesi ve aynı zamanda Mimarlık Fakültesi Erasmus Koordinatörü olan Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Matevz Juvancic ile eğitim sistemi, kültürel dokular ve genel olarak iki ülke arasındaki benzerlikler ve farklılıklarla ilgili sohbet ettik. Kendisine fincan takımı ve türk kahvesi hediye ettim. Ardından hocamızın yürütmekte olduğu tasarım stüdyosu derslerine katıldım.Ljubljana’da bulunduğum süre içerisinde aynı zamanda şehir içinde vakit geçirme şansım da oldu. İnsanlar yabancı dil konusunda oldukça iyiler, İngilizce iletişim kurma konusunda nüfusun her kesimiyle rahat bir şekilde anlaşabilmek mümkün. İnsanlar oldukça sıcakkanlı, şehirde yaşam ise oldukça güvenilir. Küçük bir şehir olduğu için ulaşım son derece rahat, özellikle merkezdeki eski yerleşim ve çevresinde her yere yürüyerek veya bisiklet kullanarak kısa sürede ulaşmak mümkün.
Merve ÖZTÜRK, a research assistant from the Department of Architecture, shared her experiences after her visit to the University of Ljubljana:As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program, I participated in a mobility to attend courses at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, from November 8 to 11, 2022. During my 4-day experience, I had the opportunity to attend classes and also spend time exploring the city.On the first day, I had a conversation with Dr. Matevz Juvancic, a faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture and the Erasmus Coordinator of the faculty, about the education system, cultural textures, and the similarities and differences between our two countries. I gave him a cup set and Turkish coffee as a gift. Afterwards, I attended the design studio classes he was leading.During my stay in Ljubljana, I also had the chance to explore the city. People are very proficient in foreign languages, and it is easy to communicate in English with all segments of the population. The locals are very friendly, and the city is very safe to live in. Since it is a small city, transportation is very convenient, and it is possible to reach everywhere in a short time, especially in the old town center and its surrounding areas, either by walking or using a bicycle.
