The final exam of 2024 at Halic University finished last week tuesday. It was the most memorable semester of my university life. Having admired Türkiye since childhood and dreamed of living here, it was literally precious time. Especially, It felt like destiny that Halic University was newly added to the list of available universities during my exchange student application process. Throughout this semester, I took courses related to mechanical engineering and language classes. The classroom atmosphere, which were different from those in Korea, initially seemed challenging, especially since the lectures were conducted in English. However, As a result, I could adapted and had a great opportunity to enhance my global competencies. These experiences not only helped to my academic growth but also broadened my understanding of new cultures and educational systems. And the kindness I experienced from turkish people touched my mind deeply. How can Turkish people be so kind to person they meet for the first time? I was truly touched. It may takes more than a day to explain helps i received from turkish people. I could feel the importance of being kind to people. There is somethings I have decided while I am here. I want to continue to give back as much kindness as I have received in Türkiye. And I will not let my connection with Türkiye end as just an exchange student experience. Teşekkür ederim.
