Extending Erasmus+ Period
Erasmus Mobility Extension
Students who wish to extend their Erasmus mobility period must meet the following requirements:
Extension Request Form
A completed and signed Erasmus Mobility Extension Request Form, including:
- Name and surname of the student
- Signature of the student
- Receiving university name
- Statement confirming that the student can take sufficient courses (ECTS) during the extended semester
- Acknowledgment that the extension will be without financial support, unless otherwise approved through a new grant application
Course Availability
- Confirmation that the receiving university offers enough courses for the student to meet the required ECTS credits during the extended semester.
Financial Responsibility
- The student must agree to cover all expenses for the extension period, as the extension itself does not automatically include Erasmus+ grant support.
Applying for a Grant (If Requested)
- Students who wish to receive grant funding for the extended semester must apply to the new Erasmus+ call published by Haliç University.
- Grant allocation is not guaranteed, even if the extension is approved.
Visa Procedures
- The student is responsible for completing any additional visa extension processes required by the host country.
Institutional Approval
Approval signatures are required from:
- The departmental coordinator at the sending institution
- The departmental coordinator at the receiving institution
