As my time at Haliç University comes to an end, I reflect on an unforgettable journey filled with both academic growth and personal discovery. Coming from Azerbaijan, I always knew that Turkey, being our brother country, would feel like a second home, and it truly has. The cultural similarities, the warmth of the people, and the shared history made me feel welcomed and connected from the very start. Academically, I pursued my studies in Business Administration at Haliç University, and the program offered me a comprehensive understanding of the business world, while fostering my critical thinking and leadership skills. The professors were supportive, and my peers were incredibly inspiring, creating an environment that encouraged collaboration and professional growth. Life in Istanbul, with its vibrant mix of history, culture, and modernity, only enhanced this experience. The city’s unique charm, from the Bosphorus to the lively streets, made every day feel like an adventure. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here and will always cherish my time in this amazing city and university.
