Spor Yöneticiliği Bölümü’nden Öğretim Üyesi Emine Çırak’ın Erasmus Personel Hareketliliği deneyimi:
Erasmus + Personel Hareketliliği kapsamında 24-28 Nisan 2023 tarihlerinde Universidade Beira İnterior’ da misafir öğretim görevlisi olarak ders verme fırsatına sahip oldum. Portekiz’in Covilha şehrinde bulunan üniversitede bulunduğum ilk gün ana binada bulunan Erasmus Birimi personelleriyle tanıştım ve misafirperver karşılandım. Ardından Spor Akademisi Erasmus Koordinatörü Prof. Ana Sofia RUIVO ALVES ile tanışıp kapalı spor salonları, derslikler, Fitness Salonu ve Biomekanik Laboratuvarını gezdik. Hareketlilik kapsamında ders verdiğim yüksek lisans öğrencileri derse karşı oldukça ilgiliydi, uygulama yaptığımız zamanlar çok keyifli geçti. Ayrıca ders sonunda öğrencilere lokum ikramı sırasında da eğlenceli dakikalar yaşadık. Farklı bölümlerden öğretim üyeleri ile de çok ilgili karşılandım. Dersler dışında ana binada bulunan bulunan Museu De Lanificioos (Yün Müzesi) ve Tınturarıa Das Dornas (Tekne Boyahanesi) ni gezdim.Atlantik okyanusuna kıyısı bulunan Portekiz’in başkenti Lizbon tamamen şirin, gösterişli bir mimariye sahip evlerden ve heykellerden oluşuyor, şehri uçtan uca 28 numara tramvayla gezmeniz ayrıcalık. Porto, yüksek bir yerden bakıldığında Douro Nehri’nin ikiye ayırdığı görüntüsü ile tıpkı Boğaz’ın zarafet kattığı İstanbul’a benziyor. Gaia teleferiği, Belem Kalesi, tekne turları, yerel yemekleri, deniz mahsülleri çeşitliliği, renkli konserve dükkanları, müzeleri, meydanları ile gezmekten çok keyif aldım. Eğitim alanındaki benzerlik ve farklılıklar, üniversite, öğrenciler, işleyiş, farklı kültürel ortamda bulunma gibi birçok olumlu tecrübe ile Portekiz’den memnun ayrıldım.Benim için ilk olan, bu güzel deneyimi yaşama fırsat veren Haliç Üniversitesi ve süreç boyu desteğini hiç esirgemeyen değerli Erasmus Ofisi Ekibine çok teşekkür ederim.
Emine Çırak, Faculty Member of the Department of Sports Management, Erasmus Staff Mobility Experience:
As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program, I had the opportunity to teach as a guest lecturer at Universidade Beira Interior from April 24 to 28, 2023. Upon arriving at the university in Covilhã, Portugal, I was warmly welcomed by the Erasmus Unit staff in the main building. I then met with Prof. Ana Sofia RUIVO ALVES, the Erasmus Coordinator of the Sports Academy, and we toured the indoor sports halls, classrooms, fitness center, and biomechanics laboratory.The master’s students I taught were very engaged in the lessons, and the practical sessions were very enjoyable. Additionally, during the traditional Turkish delight offering at the end of the course, we shared some fun moments. I was also warmly welcomed by faculty members from other departments. Outside of classes, I visited the Museu De Lanificioos (Wool Museum) and the Tınturária Das Dornas (Boat Dyeing Factory) in the main building.Portugal’s capital Lisbon, with its charming and elegant architecture made up of houses and statues, is a city full of beauty. Traveling the city from one end to the other on tram 28 is a special experience. Porto, when viewed from a high vantage point, resembles Istanbul with its elegant view, where the Douro River divides the city, much like the Bosphorus divides Istanbul. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Gaia’s cable car, Belem Castle, boat tours, local cuisine, variety of seafood, colorful canned food shops, museums, and squares.I left Portugal very satisfied with the positive experiences I gained in areas such as the similarities and differences in education, university systems, students, operations, and being in a different cultural environment. I would like to thank Haliç University for giving me the opportunity to experience this wonderful journey and the valuable Erasmus Office Team for their continuous support throughout the process.
