DEFINITION OF ERASMUS+ KA171

The project is coordinated by Haliç University as a Programme Country. Haliç University will administer all grant payments for mobility to Haliç University (“incoming”) and from Haliç University (“outgoing”).

Incoming staff’s enrolled university is responsible for collecting applications of the prospective exchange staff and providing them with all necessary support including pre-departure preparation, monitoring during mobility, and formally recognizing the mobility period. The receiving institution (Haliç University) offers staff an exchange programme at the university and allocates grants for the staff qualified to be an exchange staff at HU.

MOBILITY PERIOD

Staff will be undertaking Erasmus+ KA171 mobility in the Fall Semester of 2023-2024 Academic Year. Only mobilities in Fall Semester will be considered. Proposed mobility dates will be considerable if they are between 15 October 2023 – 01 February 2024. Teaching staff undertaking the mobility will be provided with grant for 5 days of mobility and 2 days of travel. Period for incoming teaching mobility is consecutive 5 days. In addition, it is compulsory that the teaching staff provides 8 hours of teaching in order for the mobility to be valid.

* Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Agreement should be filled out in detail and according to instructions within the document.

**Providing Certification of English Level is not a must; however, it will be considered as extra points in case of meeting the criteria. (Staff can count the results of the English exam they have taken before, or the results of the foreign language exam (CPE, CAE, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic).

Applications must be received by the responsible department of the sending university. Afterwards, all applications must be sent to Erasmus and Exchange Programmes Office of Haliç University by 21 July 2023.

ERASMUS GRADE

Erasmus Grade is used as an instrument by HU to evaluate and to rank the applicants. Please see below how Erasmus Grade is calculated:

Certification of English Level (B2 and above): +10 points

SELECTION CRITERIA

The selection of staff – as well as the procedure for awarding them a grant – must be fair, transparent, coherent, and documented and shall be made available to all parties involved in the selection process.

Selections are carried out by ranking the points from the highest to the lowest, considering the evaluation criteria and weighted scores announced by HEIs among the staff who fulfill the minimum requirements. The selection criteria should be fair, transparent, and objectively applicable to all potential beneficiaries.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS

As a result of the exam evaluation, all applicants are prepared according to the Erasmus+ General Achievement Grade and HU announces to Partner University the list of staff who are eligible to become Erasmus+ exchange staff.
